General information
Important service considerations
Existing conditions
Routine service can reveal pre-existing structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, plaster, grout, or equipment conditions.
Water, draining, and discharge
Pool and spa filling must be monitored by the homeowner. Draining and sewer cleanout discharge can expose hydrostatic, plumbing, root intrusion, or clog risks.
Cleaning and media blasting
Acid, chlorine, pressure washing, and tile descaling may reveal or affect weakened surfaces, loose tile, brittle grout, or underlying defects.
Filters and equipment
Cleaning, repair, and installation can reveal aged, worn, or damaged components that need replacement or additional corrective work.
